Job Summary
Unload deliveries for trucks using power equipment like forklifts and organize received items in appropriate storage areas. Receive purchase orders by checking for damage and comparing them against invoices or packaging lists. Accurately pull products from shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements, then pack and stage completed orders for delivery. Verify the accuracy of picked items before other associates stage them. Handle product safely to maintain quality while adhering to safety protocols and wearing necessary personal protective equipment. Work in varying conditions including extreme temperatures and noisy environments while maintaining physical fitness to lift up to 40 pounds. Perform tasks in cross-functional areas such as picking, pulling, labeling, and shipping as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Trade School Graduate
- 1-2 Years Experience in distribution center operations
- previous warehouse experience
- Physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to operate power equipment
