Job Summary
Warehouse Associate II responsible for receiving, transporting, stocking inbound products, and fulfilling orders in a La-Z-Boy warehouse. Duties include offloading, receiving, storage, and shipping of products; scanning barcodes to update inventory in the proprietary system; operating heavy industrial power equipment such as a forklift and cherry picker; performing inventory cycle counts; maintaining a clean and organized warehouse; and adhering to safety regulations. The role requires lifting heavy items (up to 350 lbs.), ability to work with both manual and powered equipment, and basic computer skills to maintain inventory records. The position supports timely and accurate receipt, stocking, and order fulfillment to meet customer and partner commitments, with a typical 40-hour work week and opportunities for growth within the RDC facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping and/or storage of goods
- Forklift certification required and experience using a cherry picker is a plus
- Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to move heavy items (up to 350 lbs.) for several hours consecutively when pulling and putting away the furniture
