Job Summary
Load, pack, wrap, label, and ship products while processing ERP transactions for delivery and pickup. Receive and store incoming stock by picking, unloading, labeling, and processing orders. Maintain inventory controls, reconcile discrepancies, and inspect goods for defects to ensure quality standards. Keep the workspace clean, safe, and optimized for space utilization while resolving issues at the warehouse level. Travel up to 20% between location and vendor sites using a company or personal vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments with quality, especially handling competing demands and aggressive timelines
- Knowledge of warehousing and logistical ERP transactions
- Basic math skills
- Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
- Flexibility - not easily frustrated
- A strong safety focus
- Creative problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to hold a minimum personal auto liability insurance limit of $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 personal property
- Required to pass MVR check with relevance to Volm Companies Insurance policies
- Must be able to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Must be available for up to 20% travel between location and vendor sites by use of company or personal motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of warehousing/logistics
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
