Job Summary
Picks product from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick lists, organizes items on carts, and operates scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Verifies picked items against invoices by matching manufacturer details, quantities, and expiration dates, then counts and packs orders with correct labeling and regulatory compliance. Processes special handling orders, creates shipping papers for hazardous materials, and manifests packages by weighing and applying labels. Maintains an organized, clean, and safe warehouse while adhering to all safety guidelines and company ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and count
- Comprehensive problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds
- Ability to team lift 56 to 100 pounds
- Ability to grasp, reach, bend and stoop in narrow/confined spaces
- Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder
- Ability to use hands continuously
- Ability to sit or stand continuously
- Ability to stoop, bend, or crawl
- Ability to operate scanners
- Ability to use assigned warehouse equipment/machinery
- Ability to train and certify the use of a variety of forklifts: sit down, Cherry picker (mobile elevated working platform) and/or Joey forklift (multipurpose order picker that can elevate an operator and can be driven at height to move from task to task)
