Job Summary
Select, check, pack, and palletize standard orders for shipment while receiving customer product and processing accurate documentation. Perform repetitive packaging, assembly, and machine operations, inspecting finished goods and incoming/outgoing items for damage or count discrepancies. Coordinate staging of incoming product to non-process storage and maintain warehouse reports depicting product locations. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, ensuring shipments meet deadlines and quality conformance against bills of material. Actively support Lean and Safety initiatives, including daily cycle counts, while maintaining a safe, clean working environment and adhering to GMP and DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years related Warehouse Experience or shipping/receiving experience
- General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP
- Ability to be licensed to operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and professional manner (i.e. Forklift or yard truck)
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing responsibilities, and prioritize duties
- Ability to work under regularly supervision, either independently or as a team, in a fast paced, changing environment
- Requires ability to navigate through defined computer screens and STERIS Operational Data Management System
- Organizing, analyzing, and basic math skills (four basic arithmetic functions in all units of measurement, decimals, ratios, rates, percentages)
- Show an attention to detail and ensure data accuracy (Receiving Reports, Bills of Lading, etc.)
- Requires effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior experience
- Able to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities
- Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc.
- Requires knowledge of DOT regulations
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA Certified Forklift Operator - preferred - training will be paid for if not currently certified
- SAP and/or ShopVue
