Job Summary
Pull, pack, and sort items for shipping and receiving while collecting and staging finished products. Read and process customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to accurately fill and set up deliveries. Assist in receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. Move inventory to designated spaces, mark materials, and maintain organized warehouse environments. Perform light assembly duties and follow established safety procedures. This role supports Hormann's garage door manufacturing by ensuring efficient order fulfillment and product distribution within the Sales Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs pounds safely
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods
- Fluency in English
- Previous warehouse or shipping dock work experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or shipping dock work experience is preferred
- candidates with second language ability especially in Spanish or German will be given additional consideration
