Job Summary
Place on-demand and scheduled orders, monitor outstanding purchase orders in Service Titan, and itemize orders for better tracking. Receive and stage materials while maintaining inventory levels for the kanban system and following standard operating procedures. Oversee check-in/check-out processes for tools and equipment, verify returned item condition, and conduct weekly reviews of missing tools. Assist with electronic receiving, temporary heating/cooling sign-outs, and trash service coordination. Answer incoming calls as the first point of contact, respond to counter requests, and provide field support for deliveries and installations. Maintain clean working spaces and adhere to fleet policies. Work outdoors year-round, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders while prioritizing personal and public safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must consider safety one's primary job, both for personal, co-worker and public benefit
- Must have general knowledge of safe working practices and of OSHA requirements
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Must be able to work in small crawl spaces
- Must regularly lift and/or move 50lbs and up
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Employees are required to work outdoors throughout the seasons
- Effective, consistent, and constant communication with customers, vendors, co-workers, and others is required
