Job Summary
Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control while greeting customers promptly and capturing signatures upon receipt. Pull and identify materials correctly, then count, sort, and place stock on racks according to predetermined sequences. Receive shipments, examine items for accuracy, and validate rejects or shortages by notifying appropriate parties. Prepare outbound shipments per established guidelines and perform other duties as assigned. Work during regular business hours with occasional exceptions, standing or lifting materials up to 50 lbs frequently. Forklift experience and certification are highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 6 months or less experience
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material
- Able to communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers
- Fork Lift experience and certification
- Warehouse Operations experience
- Basic problem solving ability
- Some creativity to generate solutions or improve effectiveness within well-established boundaries
- Some discretion in decision making and setting priorities within well-established parameters
- Ability to work during regular business hours with rare exceptions

- Ability to work occasionally in hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working in high places, exposure to heat and/or chemicals
- Ability to work occasionally in atmospheric conditions including fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation
- Ability to work occasionally in air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids
- Ability to work occasionally in air particulates / contaminants requiring the worker to wear respirator
