Job Summary
Warehouse Associate at Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina in Greenville. Responsible for shipping/receiving, order selecting, and palletizing across dry, freezer, and cooler environments; use warehouse tech tools; enforce FIFO/FEFO; ensure product quality and safety; operate forklift/electric pallet jack; maintain accurate records and inventory through cycle counts; collaborate in a safe, supportive team setting. Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and pass forklift certification; 2 years warehouse distribution experience preferred. Standard schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30–4:00 pm in-person in Greenville, NC. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 2 years of relevant warehouse experience in food distribution, preferred
- Ability to pass forklift and material handling equipment certification tests
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to complete required food safety training
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, stretching, bending, and turning
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and physically demanding environments
