Warehouse Associate - Freezer

Job Summary
Pick and assemble orders from pick lists efficiently, unload freezer items from trucks, and inspect products for damage and volume accuracy. Stock inventory in assigned locations while rotating stock to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT system, and ensure the freezer remains clean and organized. Participate in weekly meetings and attend semiannual inventory counts, providing logistics support for company events outside normal hours. Work M-F from 7 AM to 4 PM with one-hour lunch, noting overtime may apply. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently in freezing temperatures between -55 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing an insulated suit. A high school diploma and one year of warehousing experience are required, with two years of freezer experience preferred. Forklift and reach truck certifications are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Conversational level English
- Able to work weekends, holidays, afterhours, and 2nd Shift as needed
- Has and maintains a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience
- Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequently
- Must be able to wear company provided insulated freezer suit while in freezer
- Must be able to work freezing temperatures between -55 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be able to answer to all management as requested
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
- Has strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Business level English
- 2+ years of freezer experience
- Forklift training and/or certification
- Reach Truck certification
- Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors
