Job Summary
Provide service to customers entering the warehouse while maintaining a high level of customer focus. Receive, organize, and move incoming materials, then allocate and move material to its correct place to ensure an orderly environment. Make suitable skids and pallets according to packing specifications and participate in monthly or annual physical inventories. Perform minor building maintenance when necessary and follow all safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and proper lifting techniques. Operate forklift or similar equipment occasionally for multiple hours and lift or carry approximately 100 lbs. using proper procedures. Attend all required company training programs and conform to all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs
- Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
- Maintain a high level of customer focus
- Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
