Job Summary
Load/unload inbound and outbound freight from trailers and containers, locate stock for storage or shipment, and transport raw materials to production workstations. Operate a forklift with utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety while inspecting machinery for repairs and maintaining regular maintenance. Identify product damages, report shortages or quality deficiencies, and keep updated records of inventory and activity logs. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines to help maintain a safe, orderly facility environment. Requires high school diploma, 2–4 years of experience, and ability to read freight codes. Full-time role with medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic Mathematics Skills
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Must be able to move about the warehouse to access products, and machinery and assist others
- Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to bend downward using legs at the knee
- Must be able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess product
- Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information
- Must be reliable and dedicated to good attendance
- Must be available to occasionally work overtime, as required
- Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload
- Must be dedicated to working safely
- Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service
- Operate hand truck and forklift
