Job Summary
Warehouse/Forklift Operator role based in Mountainside, NJ, responsible for loading/unloading trucks, fulfilling customer orders from stock, loading materials onto pallets, inventory counting, and operating forklift and heavy-duty trucks while complying with DOT regulations and safety requirements. The position emphasizes a dynamic warehouse environment, order fulfillment, material handling, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds
- Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material
- Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
- Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
- Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
- Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts
- Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service)
- Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy
- You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned
