Job Summary
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. Read customer orders and work orders to determine items for movement, ensuring the warehouse remains accessible and safe for all traffic. Complete tasks safely while adhering to all policies, assemble products, and participate in inventory counts. Take check calls from drivers to validate load data before marking deliveries, monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, and verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition. This role requires the ability to lift at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks. Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, is essential due to varying freight volumes.
