Job Summary
Operate a forklift and support warehouse operations at Ferguson. Safely process receiving documents, build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages, and use RF devices to sort, scan, and receive orders. Accurately receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material; keep the workspace clean, safe, and compliant with PPE and safety regulations. May perform driver duties as needed. Requires 1-5 years of warehouse experience (preferred), being at least 18, valid state license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong attention to detail, dependability, basic computer skills, and a proactive, team-focused work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid state issued license is required
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
- Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic
- Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Basic computer knowledge
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required
