Job Summary
Receive, inventory control, and ship non-GMP materials, raw materials, samples, drug substance, and final product while adhering to PCI Pharma Services SOPs for material movement, inventory, and transfer. Train on GMP processes and required SOPs, then execute the training curriculum. Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external business associates and align daily actions with department and company goals. Perform various materials management functions including receiving, inventory control, shipping, and internal logistics. Work full-time with regular and reliable attendance, utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Zero to two (0-2) years of material management experience
- Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines or as a team member
- Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies and cGMP standards
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis
- Must be able to constantly sit
- Must be able to constantly stand for extended periods of time, up to four (4) hours/time
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently view objects at close and distant ranges with hand and eye coordination
- Must be able to frequently communicate with others
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors in Science Preferred
- Experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred
- Extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred
- Proven track record of problem solving and cross functional teamwork
