Job Summary
Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in the warehouse and yard. Verify order contents, maintain documentation including pick tickets and inventory count sheets, and inspect, organize, and track inventory. Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety by adhering to all protocols and wearing appropriate PPE while preserving a safe, clean work environment through cleaning and painting tasks. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining a customer-first mindset through effective communication. This role supports QXO's mission to modernize the building products industry through advanced technology and a best-in-class customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Ability to work in physically demanding roles and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Experience using warehouse technology, including handheld scanners, inventory management systems, and other warehouse equipments/technologies
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to regularly work early morning hours
