Job Summary
Pick, pack, and ship orders while receiving stock and managing the storage of parts and materials. Coordinate with warehouse management to dispose of scrapped parts and maintain documentation, and participate in physical inventory counts to assist in determining causes of short- or over-item situations. Operate safely within the warehouse environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and parts policies. Maintain ISO 9001 compliance by supporting the organization's continual improvement program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in lieu of education will be accepted
- 3-5 years of warehousing and distribution experience
- UPS World Ship and FEDEX manifesting experience
- Wireless Warehouse environment
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment
- Ability to read and work with intricate part numbers and attention to detail
- Willingness to be a team player and help out in multiple areas of the warehouse
- Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work
- Warehousing training in a distribution, manufacturing, or dealership environment
- Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures
- Basic PC skills
- Able to sit, bend, stand, and walk 8 – 10 hours per day
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Exposure to a production environment
- Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements
