Job Summary
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders while counting, verifying, and documenting all material received and returned. Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, and maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing debris. Resolve shipping discrepancies at the delivery site, notify the team of inventory issues, and assist teammates at the counter. Maintain safety compliance and report hazards to the Profit Centre Manager. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a valid driver's licence and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- College and/or University degree
- 1 year of experience with warehouse management and supervising a team
- 2 years of material handling experience
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment used within the Profit Centre
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and stressful environment
- Ability to develop comprehensive knowledge of product sold at the Profit Centre
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Intermediate math skills
