Job Summary
Receives, organizes, stores, pulls, and ships merchandise to fulfill customer orders. Move, store, and transfer materials in and around the warehouse while maintaining stock on shelves. Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to specifications upon training. Assist customers at the retail counter with guidance, hose repair, and order processing. Displays merchandise, suggests selections, and discusses product features to meet customer needs. Resolve inventory issues or alert management regarding concerns. Uphold environmental health and safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift/move product weighing more than 50 pounds
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to effectively interact with staff and vendors
- Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format
