Job Summary
Receiving and processing incoming stock, materials, and merchandise while verifying paperwork and quantities. Pack, wrap, label, load, and ship orders according to schedule, utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders to move inventory. Perform inventory controls to maintain quality standards for audits and assist in physical kitting for production work orders. Communicate with supervisors and coworkers while complying with SPG and DuPont safety policies. Requires moderate lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally more, with 75% of time spent moving around the warehouse and 25% at a computer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift license or willing to be trained
- Effective communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills
- Ability to comprehend and comply with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Computer skills within a manufacturing environment
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures
- Moderate lifting 10 - 50 pounds
- Occasional lifting and moving of more than 100 pounds
