Job Summary
Conduct door-to-door deliveries by driving the company truck on assigned routes while picking, assembling, and documenting customer orders. Maintain the vehicle safely and coordinate urgent deliveries with managers and salespersons to ensure high customer satisfaction. Participate in weekly warehouse meetings and attend semiannual inventory counts, providing logistics support for company events outside normal hours. Operate forklift and warehouse machinery in compliance with safety guidelines, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Requires Class A or B CDL, clean driving record, and ability to work weekends, holidays, and second shifts. Forklift training and knowledge of Japanese foods preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Conversational level English
- Able to operate forklift and warehouse machinery in compliance with safety guidelines
- Able to work weekends, holidays, afterhours, and 2nd Shift as needed
- Has and maintains a clean driving record
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Works efficiently independently and in a team
- Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience
- Class B License
Desired Qualifications
- Business level English
- 2+ years of driver, delivery, and/or freezer experience
- Forklift training and/or certification
- Reach Truck certification
- Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors
