Job Summary
Receive and off-load materials, verify counts against purchase orders, and inspect shipments for damage. Ensure all stock is properly stored and stage items for installation, shipment, or customer pickup. Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts to maintain accurate inventory information. Perform light fabricating and operate warehouse machinery while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Must possess a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 pounds, and one year of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift experience is a plus. This role supports DH Pace's 100th anniversary celebration as a family-owned leader in commercial door and security product distribution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift 75 pounds above your head and climb ladders with loads
- One (1+) year of warehouse experience
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and a good driving record
- Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience is a plus
