Job Summary
Operate a forklift safely, performing routine pre-shift checks and reporting issues immediately. Move completed pallets to designated storage areas, maintain accurate physical inventory of finished goods and consumables, and uphold product quality standards. Prepare job orders using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and IFS SMP to locate orders and create manual BOLs. Load and unload trucks, bulk, and containers by interfacing with drivers to accurately load customer orders according to shipping reports. Keep work areas clean, arrange priorities productively, and train new employees on all functions and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Literacy in English, both written and spoken
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years related work experience
- Effective communication skills
- Patience while teaching
- Good problem-solving skills
- Evaluation abilities to evaluate trainees
- Previous experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, etc.
- Demonstrated experience contributing within a team of professionals to deliver against set targets
- Demonstrated commitment to safety with previous experience in identifying and managing risks
- Strong organizational skills
