Job Summary
Pick up required cases of product and load them onto pallets, then deliver completed orders to the appropriate loading area. Review order specifications to ensure case count accuracy before loading and unloading trucks and trailers. Move product, shells, and pallets throughout the warehouse while maintaining and handling large moving equipment in an efficient and safe manner. Clean the loading area by disposing of trash in designated receptacles and perform other job-related duties as assigned. This mid-shift role at The Honickman Companies in Landover, MD supports distribution for brands including Sunkist, A&W, and Sparkling Ice.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification
- 2+ years experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience utilizing a pallet jack
- Experience utilizing various warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, shrink wrap machinery
- Must be able to achieve and maintain required case pick per hour
- Company certification of qualification to operate [forklift/pallet jack/etc.] must be achieved/received
