Job Summary
Process customer orders by picking, staging, decontaminating, and breaking down components for production while maintaining proper inventory levels. Label and visually inspect finished goods, perform cycle counts, and restock products safely. Monitor expiry dates, quarantine stock awaiting disposition, and handle returned or cancelled orders. Operate forklifts with proper training, perform routine cleaning, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Provide training to new employees and offer backup coverage to shipper/receiver positions. Interact with warehouse, customer service, pharmacy, and purchasing teams while coordinating shipping to the Burnaby facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to pull, push and lift objects up to 35lbs (buddy system for heavier items)
- Able and willing to stand for long periods at a time (85% of the time)
- Able and willing to bending, reach, and climb (75% of the time)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Excellent continuous improvement skills
- Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
