Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery. Key responsibilities include accurately receiving and checking the condition of incoming products, picking and filling customer orders, loading vehicles, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety and food quality standards, and maintaining a clean work environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work well in team settings, and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure.
- Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and manually stack and move cases up to 6-7 cases high.
- Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit, and occasionally at 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, and background checks).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Able to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
