Job Summary
Conduct repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs, load or unload trailers by hand, and use scanners to read bar codes for merchandise. Fill customer orders by inspecting items, matching them to orders, and packing for shipment while verifying product for fulfillment. Stock merchandise to ensure availability, assign pick locations based on reports, and sort or process tickets for retail locations. Perform returns processing, clean work areas, and maintain accurate location listings. Work multiple day and night shifts with mandatory overtime, adhering to safety rules and physical demands including climbing ladders and repetitive standing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate with fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner
- Must be a team player
- Must have multitasking skills
- Commitment to safety rules and procedures
- Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Must work well with numbers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. repetitive walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled
- Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Required to work indoor in a non-climate-controlled environment
