Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping coordination, inventory control, and assisting with deliveries. The position requires attention to detail, strong time management, and effective communication skills. Candidates must be able to safely load and unload trucks, conduct inventory checks, and operate warehouse equipment. A valid driver’s license and compliance with FMCSA regulations are essential. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, and the role supports a collaborative and safety-driven work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially in customer interactions
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Self-driven; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Pass a drug screen if needed
- Must meet and follow all regulations set forth by FMCSA relevant to the class of operator
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse and trailer experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred or training provided)
- Construction supply and equipment knowledge a plus
- Experience with operating various types of construction equipment a plus
- Rental Man software experience a plus
