Job Summary
Performs transportation and delivery of goods in a timely and courteous manner, loads and secures cargo, verifies count and condition of freight, prepares receipts, collects payments for goods delivered and for delivery charges, and maintains effective communication with management. Responsibilities include fueling the truck, restocking materials, performing warehouse duties when no deliveries are scheduled, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while ensuring quality control and adherence to company processes and DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license meeting Crawford requirements
- Ability to obtain and pass a DOT physical
- Six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PIT proficiency; reach truck, order picker, “sit down” propane. Current certification a plus
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
