Job Summary
As a Sales Team Member at Ashley Furniture, you’ll guide store guests to discover home furnishings that reflect their lives, delivering world-class service with enthusiasm and inspiration. Responsibilities include processing sales transactions and financing applications, handling cash with accuracy, assisting with open/close procedures and cash reconciliation, supporting inventory management and loss prevention, meeting and exceeding sales goals and KPI standards, and performing additional tasks as assigned. Key skills include outstanding customer service, effective communication, ability to engage guests, cash handling, order processing, credit applications, and a proactive, energetic approach in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 LBS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
