Job Summary
Receiving, off-loading, and verifying counts for incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records. Sort stock materials, check deliveries for damage, and stage items for installation, shipment, or customer pickup. Assist internal and external customers with loading and make deliveries as needed using hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment. Utilize company software to ensure precise tracking and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Drive box trucks for special projects and deliveries when assigned. Must occasionally lift up to 75 lbs or more with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day
- Attention to detail
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance
- Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus
