Job Summary
Select outbound orders and products from stock, verifying quantities against picking slips and special order documents. Stock and shelf items in correct bin locations, recording received goods in the computer system. Operate a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities, customers, and vendors while adhering to all traffic laws and DOT requirements. Perform daily vehicle inspections for fluid levels, tire pressure, and road worthiness. Ensure products are placed in proper route delivery loading areas and maintain excellent customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate delivery and communication. Work full-time Monday through Friday, with warehouse shifts from 10am to finish or driving shifts from 7am to finish.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Good physical condition
- Capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Capable of climbing steps and ladders
- Capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience
