Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for picking and pulling merchandise, loading/unloading to/from AFW facilities, safely loading customers' merchandise, operating forklift and RF scanning, maintaining safety standards, and supporting team with accurate order processing and inventory duties. Requires the ability to become forklift-certified, follow PPE usage, perform multi-tasking in a high-paced environment, lift 50-100lbs, and work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends. Compensation starts at $17/hour with potential to increase; benefits include weekly pay and 401k matching. No supervisory responsibilities; training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent
- Ability to become certified in operation of warehouse equipment
- Ability to be trained on the correct use of PPE
- Flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Strong independent work ethic
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Knowledge of lifting techniques and safe lifting practices
- Pre-employment drug screen, background and fitness-for-duty check
- Forklift operation experience or certification preferred
- Basic computer skills
