Job Summary
Receive, ship, and unload products while organizing stock and maintaining warehouse order. Check-in merchandise against packing lists, compute inbound freight costs in the corporate ERP system, and assemble customer orders by pulling parts from shelving according to pick tickets. Operate forklifts to move materials and package orders to prevent damage during shipment. Verify carrier, freight, and payment methods before shipping, ensuring quality checks confirm correct items and shipping methods. Maintain a clean, safe environment by keeping aisles clear, removing trash, and assisting in physical inventory counts. Requires current driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current driver's license
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
