Job Summary
Receive and deliver food, beverage, and products throughout the AdventHealth Training Center in a timely manner. Deliver stock to kitchens, coolers, freezers, and storage areas while maintaining FIFO standards. Rotate assignments to keep assigned areas clean and organized, inspect storage for deficiencies, and assist with general housekeeping. Operate an electric jack and forklift if certified. Follow Executive Chef or Front of House Manager assignments for receiving deliveries, checking temperature and product condition, and moving equipment as required. Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies. Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
- Ability to promote and participate in a team environment
- Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds in weight (boxes)
- Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
Desired Qualifications
- May need to operate a forklift (if certified)
