Job Summary
Receives, unloads, and verifies incoming materials against purchase orders while processing return shipments. Sorts, counts, and packages inbound and outbound material using handheld barcode scanners. Pulls orders accurately, stages loading areas, and operates forklifts to load and unload trucks. Cuts aluminum and brush within tolerances, inspects material for defects, and maintains bins and racks to track inventory levels. Prepares shipments by selecting efficient shipping methods, packing products safely, and entering data for UPS orders. Builds pallets, maintains aisles, operates punch presses, and performs housekeeping duties. Assists with physical inventory and ensures compliance with all safety regulations. Requires physical stamina to lift 75 pounds and 3-6 months of on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- Physical stamina and agility to stand, walk, bend and lift, must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Data entry computer skills
- Ability to use hand tools and operate a forklift
