Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving/unloading inbound shipments, inspecting for accuracy and condition, and preparing outbound orders (pick/pack/label/stage) per customer and company requirements. Operates warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers as certified), records inventory movements in WMS via handheld scanners, performs cycle counts, and assists with physical inventory to maintain stock levels. Prepares freight for domestic and international shipments, follows SOPs and customer handling instructions, and maintains OSHA-compliant safety and clean working conditions. Collaborates with team members to meet productivity and quality goals, adheres to security and compliance (C-TPAT, audits), supports cross-docking and loading to meet SLAs, and reports discrepancies promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Reach Truck experience
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers) as certified
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
- Receive, unload, and inspect inbound shipments; verify accuracy and documentation
- Pick, pack, label, and stage outbound orders according to customer and company requirements
- Perform cycle counts and assist physical inventory to maintain stock accuracy
- Prepare freight for domestic and international shipment; adhere to SOPs and customer handling instructions
- Maintain OSHA-compliant, safe, and clean warehouse environment
- Identify and report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies
