Job Summary
Inspect condition of items, record received or distributed quantities, and document customer return information. Use Eclipse to assign order types, pick, stage, and ship orders while observing all special order notes. Pull materials from stock, assemble customer orders, and place them on pallets or shelves. Pack, re-pack, and palletize orders, bundle pipe, shrink wrap pallets, and convey items to packing or shipping areas. As assigned, locate and put away items, perform cycle counts, maintain locations, and complete housekeeping tasks. Keep work areas neat, remove debris, and ensure safety equipment and supplies are in good condition.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years previous work experience
- Must be able to continuously talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, stand, walk, bend over, push or pull, grasp, and carry, move or lift 1-50lbs
- Must be able to frequently reach overhead, crouch, or kneel
- Must be able to occasionally sit, crawl, climb, balance, and carry, move, or lift 51-100+ lbs
- Must be able to wear the proper safety equipment
- Must be able to ensure supplies and equipment are in good condition
- Must be able to report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor
- Must be able to maintain a clean work area (cleaning as you go)
- Must be able to assist in organizing boxes and work area for orderliness at all times
- Must be able to perform yard maintenance
- Must be able to use Eclipse to Assign Various Order Types, Pick, Stage, Ship the Order as Required
- Must be able to observe all order notes and fulfill order as detailed in the special order
- Must be able to pull materials and/or assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping areas
- Must be able to pack or re-pack boxes, palletize orders, bundle and/or band pipe, shrink wrap pallets/crates
- Must be able to meet customer's specifications
- Must be able to verify identifying information and quantity and condition of items
- Must be able to promptly complete shipping documents
- Must be able to use Eclipse to Locate and Put Away items to a Primary or Shelf Location
- Must be able to cycle counts, maintain locations, complete housekeeping tasks, assist in building and area maintenance as assigned
- Must be able to keep shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; remove debris, sweep, dust and mop
- Must be able to wear the proper safety equipment
- Must be able to ensure supplies and equipment are in good condition
- Must be able to report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
