Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory control in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities include accurately picking, packing, and shipping materials, loading/unloading trucks, storing materials, conducting routine cycle counts, receiving and putting away incoming materials, maintaining a clean and professional warehouse, operating forklifts, and supporting other co-op locations as required. Requires forklift experience or certification, valid driver’s license for travel between locations, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; shift is 5 AM to 2 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift and warehouse experience preferred
- Prior forklift certification a strong plus
- Valid drivers' license required for business travel between locations
- Experience loading flatbed trailers preferred
- Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within and outside the organization
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing
- Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word
- Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity to view a computer screen
- Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements
