Job Summary
Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring proper stacking and organization of products. Maintain product integrity by checking for infestation, verifying production codes, and monitoring temperature ranges before storage. Efficiently prepare products for shipment and maintain equipment and materials in an orderly fashion. Operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts and scanners, while adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate should lift heavy weights, work in temperature extremes, and possess strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally, with assistance
- Ability to work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong arithmetic and reading skills
Additional Requirements
- Engage in frequent personal interaction and communication
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and coordinate with others
