Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Unload product from trucks and containers, stock items in designated areas, and ensure proper placement on racks or bins. Assemble customer orders, place them on pallets or shelves, and convey them to the packing station or shipping department. Drive forklifts to transport items within the plant while maintaining sanitary handling and marking materials with identifying information. Record received or distributed amounts and arrange product in specified sequences for processing. Adhere to safety practices and maintain inventory records. Work the 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 11am to approximately 7pm, in a cold climate environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic English speaking and written proficiency
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic tasks – adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Able to frequently push, pull, bend, squat, reach, and operate a forklift
- Must adhere to scheduled shift time - 11am-7pm Monday-Thursday and 11am-5pm on Friday's
Desired Qualifications
- at least one year of warehouse experience preferred
- A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to accurately pick product in a timely fashion
- Willingness to work in a cold climate of 35º and or below 0º
