Job Summary
Warehouse Associate II, 2nd Shift at Cardinal Health in Overland Park, KS. Responsible for inbound/outbound activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and transporting products. Performs duties such as selecting large case items with material handling equipment or small unit items, uses RF scanners and voice-directed picking, and employs Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products. Follows SOPs to process orders, conducts quality checks, and maintains a safe, clean work environment. May cross-train across warehouse areas, participate in projects, and drive various equipment (forklift, order picker, reach truck, turret, pallet jack). Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and lift/stand for the shift, with overtime flexibility. Strong collaboration and communication with team and management, commitment to safety and quality guidelines, and adherence to EHS/QRA policies. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Capable of bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and standing for duration of shift
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience operating material handling equipment (Power Industrial Trucks) preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and/or voice-directed picking systems highly preferred
- Flexibility to work overtime with little to no advance notice
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of material handling equipment
- Rotate across different areas within the warehouse
