Job Summary
Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to customers accurately and quickly; transports, sorts, and stocks materials using hand trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, electric pallet jacks, and pallet jacks. Performs quality inspections on incoming/outgoing materials, sorts and places materials on racks/bins per inventory procedures, conducts physical inventory counts, crosschecks orders with packing lists, labels inventory as needed, and maintains a safe, clean work environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts and supports daily warehouse operations. Minimum 1-2 years warehouse experience; proficiency with RF scanners, basic computer skills, and familiarity with shipping practices; required to lift 75 pounds (up to 130 pounds with help); safety footwear required. Location: Durham, NC; Full-time, 2nd shift; benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years of related experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with material handling equipment (sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers)
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
- Experience using handheld RF scan guns and basic computer skills
- Positive and professional attitude with interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent oral communication
- Preferred valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background screening, motor vehicle report and drug testing
