Job Summary
Assemble orders, load trailers, and stretch-wrap pallets in accordance with customer specifications. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and palletizer production lines while conducting pre-shift safety checks and following Job Safety Analysis guidelines. Move material from storage to the floor, verify quantities and SKUs through visual inspection, and adjust inventory via cycle counts. Perform receiving duties by verifying incoming pallets, separating mixed SKUs, and storing materials in designated racks. Maintain a clean work area and operate the dispatcher system for stock inquiries. Work any shift, including off-hours and weekends, with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
- Positive and Verifiable Work History
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience in a related environment or equivalent training and/or education
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, SOP and standard work
- Must possess shift and schedule flexibility of regular time (any shift that may include off-hours and/or weekends), and overtime, as needed
- Must agree to follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to use a calculator; ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; able to communicate effectively and function in a team-based environment; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Desired Qualifications
- Spotter truck and TRT experience would be a plus
