Job Summary
Warehouse Associate on 1st shift responsibilities include off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts; operate forklift and related equipment safely; ensure items are received and stocked per procedures; maintain inventory and perform cycle counts; complete Will Calls and required paperwork; follow PPE, safety procedures, and company policies; assist customers and CSRs as needed; maintain clean working environment and participate in ongoing training and certification as required; strong communication, attention to detail, data-entry, and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role is within Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, serving the Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana markets.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days
- Valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to pass Prove It and driving test
- Legally authorized for employment in the United States
