Job Summary
Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time by operating a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools. Perform material loading and unloading, assist with inventory management including daily ERP updates, and maintain a clean, orderly work environment. Move inventory within and among workstations while conducting routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment. Work the 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM shift Monday through Friday, with potential overtime. Must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication abilities
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to ensure orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly
- Ability to efficiently organize stock and maintain a clean workspace
- Ability to collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
- Must be available for 7:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday shifts
- Must be able to work with potential overtime
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to tolerate high noise levels
- Must be able to work with moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to work during prolonged periods on feet, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching
