Job Summary
Read work orders, requisitions, and production instructions to move, gather, or distribute materials. Load, unload, and stage products safely while operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other equipment per certification standards. Dock trailers for deliveries, sort items on racks or refrigerated rooms, and arrange stock parts for assembly. Receive incoming supplies, verify shipments against purchase orders and invoices, and process packing lists and bills of lading. Track inventory counts, enter transactions into warehouse systems, and monitor records for discrepancies. Maintain equipment, keep areas clean, and ensure compliance with food safety, cGMP, and Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements. Report hazards, process failures, or damaged safety devices to supervision immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Clamp truck operation
- Warehouse equipment operation
- Ability to lift and move materials safely
- Ability to operate trailers
- Ability to drive a vehicle
- Ability to read work orders, requisitions, customer specifications, and production instructions
- Ability to verify shipments against purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, and UPS/FedEx documentation
- Ability to track, weigh, count, and record materials
- Ability to perform daily raw material counts
- Ability to participate in monthly and annual physical inventories
- Ability to monitor warehouse records
- Ability to enter warehouse movements, transfers, work orders, and inventory transactions into Oracle or other warehouse systems
- Ability to correctly document food safety and quality data
- Ability to adhere to cGMP, PPE, food safety, and quality assurance guidelines
- Ability to use required protective equipment
- Ability to follow Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements
- Ability to follow Employee Handbook rules
- Ability to report hazards, regulatory violations, or unsafe conditions
- Ability to participate in internal and external audits and inspections
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
