Job Summary
Warehouse Associate coordinates shipping and receiving, manages dock appointments, conducts inventory counts, supplies production with raw materials and packaging, writes receipts, enters receipts into the system, schedules shipments, loads shipments, and maintains safe, clean warehouse and dock areas. The role requires forklift experience, manufacturing/warehouse experience, ability to pass background checks and drug screen, a valid driver’s license with ability to travel between facilities, and proficiency with reading/understanding safety and operating documents. Night shift operates 5:00pm–5:30am on a rotating 12-hour continental schedule with alternating weeks off/on, and the position includes computer work and various material-handling duties in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience REQUIRED
- Previous manufacturing/warehouse/distribution experience is required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; occasional push/pull of 350-pound carts
