Job Summary
Handle deliveries, inspect and stock merchandise, manage inventory, and prepare reports and records. Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse while interacting with vendors, drivers, and team members. Operate equipment including trucks, forklifts, stock ladders, pallet lifts, and computers. Assist with special events and run errands as needed. Must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license, and have the physical ability to lift 45 pounds, climb ladders, and work on feet for eight hours daily. Work in all climate types including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- valid driver's license
- be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier
- physical ability to lift 45 pounds
- climb up and down ladders
- work on their feet for 8 hours a day
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks in all climate types including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Experience with data entry
- balancing invoices
- receiving merchandise
- Work schedules may include weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
- The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana
